About BUL BAR
Founded in 2022 by K54 Hospitality Group.
BUL BAR is a cocktail and rooftop music bar in the heart of Almaty — located at the intersection of Kurmangazy and Kulyash Baiseitova, two streets named after legendary Kazakh musicians. In Kazakh, BUL BUL means “nightingale” — a singing bird known for its pure tone and soulful rhythm. That same spirit lives here.
Built around sound, rhythm, and atmosphere, BUL BAR celebrates the city’s creative pulse through its mix of crafted cocktails, warm lighting, and curated sets. Each night blends jazz, soul, and house into an intimate experience that feels both timeless and modern.
Recognized by Tatler Kazakhstan as one of Kazakhstan’s Top 20 Bars in both 2025 and 2026, BUL BAR has become a cultural meeting point for Almaty’s music lovers, artists, and those who value taste, aesthetics, and the spirit of the city.
